Shopping @ Gipsy Scarlet

One of my new favourite online shops is Gipsy Scarlet... Already purchased twice from them last month. They reply to their orders promptly and their next day delivery service(if you order 3 or more items) is great especially when you have an event to attend and want something nice to wear.

So far I've bought...

The perfect work dress is great! The material is something like stretchable sateen. I used to love working with this fabric when I was doing fashion design as it's opaque, stretchable and has just the right amount of crispness which is great for work wear. And all the colours are so nice it was difficult to choose just one!

Same goes for the cardigan which is perfect for wearing in the office, on casual days and to events too (see photos below). The fabric is not the very stretchy, ultra thin cheap type of knitted fabric. The fabric used for this is great as it holds it's form (ie. no warping out of shape as it goes through the wash).

As I mentioned, their next day delivery is great! I had a wedding to attend last Sunday, so I ordered and paid on Thursday night. Then they arranged for my delivery on Friday! Although I knew I probably wouldn't be home by the time they delivered, I knew someone would be and they sent an SMS before delivery so I could call home to inform of the delivery. A very smooth transaction indeed. So I got to wear my Pink Tiffany Dress and Black Shawl Collar Cardigan to the wedding on Sunday...

Gipsy Scarlet has just uploaded their new collection and I am definitely getting a few items! Just nice for Chinese New Year too! And the prices are great seeing I'm on a really tight budget these days =(

Think I might go and submit my order after I post this ;) *woot* new clothes!
